About Muhammad Shihata

Five years building software that ships. I currently work on financial SaaS for banks and institutional clients at Tangible Markets, where the work spans the whole stack — schema design, APIs, and the interfaces that replace manual processes.

Before that I led a product team as tech lead, taking a browser-based creative studio from the first commit to launch-ready: a small 3D editor, a lightweight PDF export flow, and the architecture decisions behind both.

I work best where ownership is real — shipping the feature, then staying accountable for how it performs in production. AI tooling sits in the loop day to day, helping me move faster without lowering the quality bar.

    Full-stack work on LiquidityHub, a platform banks and financial institutions use to manage private-equity liquidity — owning the liquidification workflow end to end and removing manual steps institutional clients previously handled by hand.

    Led the team the project had grown into. With ~90% of the work in the frontend I had originally built, I set architecture direction, onboarded backend engineers moving into client-side work, reviewed their code, and drove the release plan to a launch-ready state.

    Solo developer on a book-creation studio, built from the first commit: a 2D template editor on Konva and a PDF export pipeline. Two backend engineers joined later to generate multilingual, multi-version books from a single source layout.

    Rebuilt 90% of the marketing site for a faster, clearer experience, migrated the news center onto HubSpot CMS, and wrote the private API documentation. Closed 1,200+ tickets and served as day-to-day contact for partners and API consumers.
